transportation concurrency; providing an effective 6

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. Paragraph (d) of subsection (5) of section 11
163.3180, Florida Statutes, is a mended to read: 12
163.3180 Concurrency. — 13
(5) 14
(d) The premise of concurrency is that the public 15
facilities will be provided in order to achieve and maintain the 16
adopted level of service standard. A comprehensive plan that 17
imposes transportation concurren cy shall contain appropriate 18
amendments to the capital improvements element of the 19
comprehensive plan, consistent with the requirements of s. 20
163.3177(3). The capital improvements element shall identify 21
facilities necessary to meet adopted levels of servic e during a 22
5-year period or to maintain current levels of service . 23
Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 24
