Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subsection (2) of section 10
381.9312, Florida Statutes , is amended to read: 11
381.9312 Uterine fibroid research database; education and 12
public awareness.— 13
(2) UTERINE FIBROID RESEARCH DATABASE. — 14
(c) The department shall include uterine fibroids in the 15
list of diseases issued under s. 381.0031(4). The info rmation 16
required to be included under this subsection is subject to s. 17
381.0031 The database may not include any personal identifying 18
information of women diagnosed with or treated for uterine 19
fibroids. 20
Section 2. (1) For the 2025-2026 fiscal year, th e sum of 21
$1 million in nonrecurring funds is appropriated from the 22
General Revenue Fund to implement s. 381.9312(2)(c), Florida 23
Statutes, as amended by this act. 24
(2) For the 2026-2027 fiscal year, the sum of $140,000 in 25

recurring funds is appropriated fr om the General Revenue Fund to 26
implement s. 381.9312(2)(c), Florida Statutes, as amended by 27
this act. 28
Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2025. 29
