2002-347, Laws of Florida, as amended; renaming the 4
Northeast Florida Regional Airport as the "St. 5
Augustine Airport"; providing an effective date. 6

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 8

Section 1. Section 1 of section 3 of chapter 2002 -347, 10
Laws of Florida, as amended by chapte r 2021-246, Laws of 11
Florida, is amended to read: 12
Section 1. Status of the St. Johns County Airport 13
Authority.—The St. Johns County Airport Authority is declared to 14
be an independent special district pursuant to chapter 189, 15
Florida Statutes, as it may be amended from time to time. The 16
St. Johns County Airport Authority may conduct airport 17
operations under the name " St. Augustine Northeast Florida 18
Regional Airport." 19
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. 20
