An act relating to Manatee County; requiring the 2
Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court and 3
Comptroller to provide operational management services 4
for certain historic museums and parks; providing the 5
clerk may fund maintenance and infrastructure for such 6
museums and parks; providing an effective date. 7

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 9

Section 1. The Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court 11
and Comptroller shall provide operational management services, 12
programming, and exhibits for the Palmetto Historical Park, the 13
Manatee County Agricultural Museum, the Manatee Village 14
Historical Park, and the Florida Maritime Museum, unless 15
otherwise directed by the property owner. The Manatee County 16
Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller may fund needed 17
maintenance and infrastructure to the parks and museums listed 18
in this section; such funding shall be used to supplement 19
existing funding sources and shall not be used to replace or 20
supplant any local, state, or other sources. 21
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. 22
