CS/HB 7013 2025 CODING: Words stricken are deletions; words underlined are additions. hb7013-01-c1 Page 1 of 2 F L O R I D A H O U S E O F R E P R E S E N T A T I V E S A bill to be entitled 1 An act relating to a review under the Open Government 2 Sunset Review Act; amending s. 119.0725, F.S., which 3 provides an exemption from public record and meeting 4 requirements for certain cybersecurity insurance 5 information, critical infrastructure information, 6 cybersecurity incident information, and certain 7 cybersecurity-related information held by an agency; 8 revising the date of the scheduled repeal of the 9 exemption; amending s. 282.318 F.S., which provides an 10 exemption from public record and meeting requirements 11 for certain portions of risk assessments, evaluations, 12 external audits, and other reports of a state agency's 13 cybersecurity program; extending the date of the 14 scheduled repeal of the exemption; providing an 15 effective date. 16 17 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida: 18 19 Section 1. Subsection (9) of section 282.318, Florida 28 Statutes, is amended to read: 29 282.318 Cybersecurity. — 30 (9) Subsections (5) and (6) are subject to the Open 31 Government Sunset Review Act in accordance with s. 119.15 and 32 shall stand repealed on October 2, 2026 2025, unless reviewed 33 and saved from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature. 34 Section 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law. 35
