JUMP TO SUMMARY ANALYSIS RELEVANT INFORMATION BILL HISTORY 2 RELEVANT INFORMATION SUBJECT OVERVIEW: Section 11.242 F.S., requires the Division of Law Revision of the Florida Legislature to conduct a systemic and continuing study of Florida statutes and laws for the purpose of recommending to the Legislature changes that would: Remove statutory inconsistencies, redundancies, and unnecessary repetitions; Improve clarity; and Facilitate correct and proper interpretation. Such changes include: Corrections to grammatical and typographical errors. Removal of expired or obsolete statutes and laws. Transfer, consolidation, and renumbering of sections, subsections, chapters, and titles. The recommended changes are submitted to the Legislature as technical, non-substantive reviser’s bills.
