A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
To amend Code Section 31-2A-18 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to

establishment of the Low THC Oil Patient Registry, definitions, purpose, registration cards,2
semiannual reports, waiver forms, and annual review and recommendations, so as to add3
dysmenorrhea to the list of conditions for which medical marijuana may be prescribed and4
used, when such condition is diagnosed as severe or debilitating; to revise a definition; to5
provide for conforming changes; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws;6
and for other purposes.7
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:8
SECTION 1.9
Code Section 31-2A-18 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to establishment10
of the Low THC Oil Patient Registry, definitions, purpose, registration cards, semiannual11
reports, waiver forms, and annual review and recommendations, is amended by revising12
paragraph (3) of subsection (a) as follows:13
"(3)  'Condition' means:14
(A)  Cancer, when such disease is diagnosed as end stage or the treatment produces

related wasting illness or recalcitrant nausea and vomiting;16

(B)  Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end17
stage;18
(C)  Seizure disorders related to a diagnosis of epilepsy or trauma related head injuries;19
(D)  Multiple sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;20
(E)  Crohn's disease;21
(F)  Mitochondrial disease;22
(G)  Parkinson's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;23
(H)  Sickle cell disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;24
(I)  Tourette's syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as severe;25
(J)  Autism spectrum disorder, when such disorder is diagnosed for a patient who is at26
least 18 years of age, or severe autism, when diagnosed for a patient who is less than27
18 years of age;28
(K)  Epidermolysis bullosa;29
(L)  Alzheimer's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;30
(M)  Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as31
severe or end stage;32
(N)  Peripheral neuropathy, when such symptoms are diagnosed as severe or end stage;33
(O)  Post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from direct exposure to or the witnessing34
of a trauma for a patient who is at least 18 years of age; or35
(P)  Intractable pain.36
(A)  Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, when such syndrome is diagnosed as37
severe or end stage;38
(B)  Alzheimer's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;39
(C)  Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end40

(D)  Autism spectrum disorder, when such disorder is diagnosed for a patient who is at42
least 18 years of age, or severe autism, when diagnosed for a patient who is less than43
18 years of age;44
(E)  Cancer, when such disease is diagnosed as end stage or the treatment produces45
related wasting illness or recalcitrant nausea and vomiting;46
(F)  Crohn's disease;47
(G)  Dysmenorrhea, when such condition is diagnosed as severe or debilitating;48
(H)  Epidermolysis bullosa;49
(I)  Intractable pain;50
(J)  Mitochondrial disease;51
(K)  Multiple sclerosis, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;52
(L)  Parkinson's disease, when such disease is diagnosed as severe or end stage;53
(M)  Peripheral neuropathy, when such symptoms are diagnosed as severe or end stage;54
(N)  Post-traumatic stress disorder resulting from direct exposure to or the witnessing55
of a trauma for a patient who is at least 18 years of age;56

SECTION 2.60
All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.61
