A RESOLUTION
Congratulating the Stingray Allstars - Scarlet for winning the Atlanta Athletic

Championship; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, the Stingray Allstars - Scarlet have established and maintained a proud tradition3
of excellence with equal emphases on character and academics; and4
WHEREAS, superior teamwork and extraordinary resilience have made this team a5
spectacular one to observe throughout the year, including its most recent victory at the6
Atlanta Athletic Championship, the last regular competition of the season; and7
WHEREAS, as further testament to their outstanding performance, the Stingray Allstars -8
Scarlet scored their personal best and had the highest overall score of the entire competition9
at 98.8; and10
WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding11
athletic ability, dedication, hard work, and unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the12
team as well as the astute direction of coaches Ashley Coffey and Rupert Breedlove; and13 23 LC 112 1671

WHEREAS, the Stingray Allstars - Scarlet now prepare for The Summit, an invitation-only

bid-awarded competition in Orlando, Florida, that is recognized as the "Super Bowl of15
Cheer" and is the largest competition of the season; and16
WHEREAS, as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by17
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is18
abundantly proper to call them champions.19
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that20
the members of this body congratulate the Stingray Allstars - Scarlet for taking first place in21
their division at the Atlanta Athletic Championship and extend best wishes for their22
continued success at The Summit.23
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representativesis authorized24
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the25
Stingray Allstars - Scarlet.26
