A RESOLUTION
Honoring Melisa Mims for her outstanding contributions to the community through

Showtime Pros Inc.; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Melisa Mims is a dedicated humanitarian committed to advocating, motivating,3
and encouraging individuals to reach their full potential—mentally, physically, and4
spiritually; and5
WHEREAS, she is the founder and director of Showtime Pros Inc., a distinguished6
organization dedicated to advancing individuals and communities by combating community7
deterioration and juvenile delinquency through mentorship programs, scholarships, and8
community service projects; and9
WHEREAS, under the umbrella of Showtime Pros Inc., she has created and continues to10
oversee impactful initiatives such as the Thanksgiving Holiday Tournament (THT Bowl), the11
Showtime Pros All-Star Cheer Program, and The Ultimate Experience Cotillion Program,12
which provide invaluable opportunities for personal and academic growth; and13

WHEREAS, since its founding in 2017, Showtime Pros Inc. has positively impacted
14
thousands of children, offering guidance, support, and mentorship that has helped shape their15
futures; and16
WHEREAS, as of February 2025, 52 young adults will have successfully completed the17
programs offered by Showtime Pros Inc., entering society with strong academic and18
community service foundations; and19
WHEREAS, since 2023, Showtime Pros Inc. has awarded over $15,000 in scholarships to20
further the education and development of its participants, fostering a culture of academic21
excellence and leadership; and22
WHEREAS, the 52 participants over the past three years have collectively completed more23
than 1,157 hours of community service and achieved an outstanding cumulative GPA of24
3.68; and25
WHEREAS, every debutante who has graduated from high school through The Ultimate26
Experience Cotillion Program is currently pursuing higher education, with many receiving27
academic, athletic, or arts and cultural scholarships; and28
WHEREAS, the leadership and dedication demonstrated by Melisa Mims have had a29
profound and lasting impact on the lives of young individuals and the community at large.30
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that31
the members of this body recognize and honor Melisa Mims for her unwavering commitment32
to serving others and for her exceptional contributions to the betterment of her community33
through Showtime Pros Inc.34

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized

and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to36
Melisa Mims.37
