A RESOLUTION
Honoring Addie Speigner of West Forsyth High School, the 2024 GHSA Class 6A Girls

100m Fly Individual State Champion; and for other purposes.2
WHEREAS, Addie Speigner, a student-athlete at West Forsyth High School, has3
demonstrated outstanding skill, dedication, and perseverance in the sport of swimming; and4
WHEREAS, through her exceptional performance, Addie Speigner secured the title of 20245
GHSA Class 6A Girls 100m Fly Individual State Champion, bringing great pride and6
recognition to West Forsyth High School and Forsyth County; and7
WHEREAS, Coach Michele Heindl has the esteemed privilege of serving as head coach to8
the program, and oversaw countless hours of training and competition to assist in the growth9
of Ms. Speigner and her teammates; and10
WHEREAS, her victory is a testament to her commitment to excellence, countless hours of11
training, and the unwavering support of her coaches, teammates, family, and school12
community; and13

WHEREAS, her athletic achievements serve as an inspiration to her peers and a reflection

of the values of hard work, sportsmanship, and determination.15
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that16
the members of this body recognize and honor Addie Speigner for her exceptional17
accomplishment as the 2024 GHSA Class 6A Girls 100m Fly Individual State Champion.18
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized19
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to Addie20
Speigner.21
