A RESOLUTION
Recognizing and commending the Atlantic Institute; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization committed to2
fostering dialogue, education, and cultural understanding; and3
WHEREAS, the Institute promotes mutual respect and peace by increasing public awareness4
of diverse cultures, beliefs, traditions, and perspectives; and5
WHEREAS, the Institute organizes and hosts educational programs, panel discussions, and6
cultural events that encourage dialogue on global and societal issues; and7
WHEREAS, the organization actively engages in interfaith and intercultural initiatives to8
promote cooperation and harmony among communities; and9
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute fosters civic engagement and social responsibility through10
community service projects and collaborative initiatives; and11
WHEREAS, the organization provides opportunities for youth engagement and leadership12
development through programs that nurture cross-cultural understanding; and13

WHEREAS, the Institute's commitment to peacebuilding is demonstrated through its efforts

to address social divisions and foster connections between different communities; and15
WHEREAS, the Institute builds strong partnerships with academic institutions, faith-based16
organizations, and civic leaders to create spaces for constructive dialogue; and17
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute works to counter prejudice, discrimination, and18
misunderstanding by emphasizing shared values and common ground among people of all19
backgrounds; and20
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute's annual events, including interfaith dinners, cultural21
exchange programs, and academic discussions, serve as platforms for meaningful22
conversations and collaboration; and23
WHEREAS, the organization enhances societal enrichment by fostering discussions on24
critical social issues such as democracy and the promotion of peaceful coexistence; and25
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute actively contributes to peaceful coexistence in the26
Southeastern United States by fostering dialogue and building bridges between communities;27
and28
WHEREAS, the Institute honors and highlights diverse cultural traditions through artistic and29
culinary events that foster appreciation and cross-cultural exchange; and30
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute's commitment to fostering dialogue aligns with the31
principles of unity, inclusivity, and respect for all individuals; and32

WHEREAS, through its many initiatives, the organization has had a significant and positive
33
impact on the communities it serves; and34
WHEREAS, the work of the Atlantic Institute is deserving of recognition for its continued35
efforts in fostering peace, understanding, and cultural appreciation; and36
WHEREAS, the Atlantic Institute has established branches in Florida, Alabama, Georgia,37
Tennessee, and South Carolina, expanding its outreach and impact across the Southeastern38
United States.39
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that40
the members of this body recognize and commend the Atlantic Institute for its dedication to41
fostering dialogue, cultural understanding, and peacebuilding as well as extend best wishes42
for continued success.43
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized44
and directed to make an appropriate copy of this resolution available for distribution to the45
Atlantic Institute.46
