A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO act 86, Session laws of hawaii 2021.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Act 86, Session Laws of Hawaii 2021, authorized the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds to support Luana Kai A Life Plan Community, a Hawaii nonprofit corporation, in the development of a senior living project in Hawaii Kai. However, in 2022, project sponsors announced that the project would not be moving forward. Therefore, the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds is no longer required. Accordingly, the purpose of this Act is to repeal Act 86, Session Laws of Hawaii 2021. SECTION 2. Act 86, Session Laws of Hawaii 2021, is repealed. SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. INTRODUCED BY: _____________________________
