A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to boards and commissions.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 26-34, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (f) to read as follows: "(f) This section shall not apply [to ex officio members of boards and commissions or] to the board of trustees of the employees retirement system." SECTION 2. This Act shall not apply to ex officio board and commission members seated prior to the effective date of this Act. SECTION 3. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. INTRODUCED BY: _____________________________
