A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to the school facilities authority.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 302A-1703, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by amending subsection (b) to read as follows: "(b) The authority shall comply with chapter 103D. Except as otherwise limited by this chapter, the authority may disregard any inconsistent ordinance or rule related to the use, zoning, planning, or development of land to which the authority holds title or for any construction on land to which the authority holds title." SECTION 2. This Act does not affect rights and duties that matured, penalties that were incurred, and proceedings that were begun before its effective date. SECTION 3. New statutory material is underscored. SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. INTRODUCED BY: _____________________________
