1 AN ACT concerning government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by
5 adding Section 11 as follows:
6 (5 ILCS 490/11 new)
7 Sec. 11. Italian Heritage Month. The month of October of
8 each year is designated as Italian Heritage Month to be
9 observed throughout the State as a month to recognize the
10 contributions and influence of Italians on American history,
11 achievement, culture, and innovation.
