The Metropolitan Transit Authority Act is 5 amended by adding Section 54 as follows: 6 (70 ILCS 3605/54 new) 7 Sec. 54. Transportation for youth programs and services. 8 The Authority shall, no later than July 1, 2022, establish a 9 program, similar to the U-Pass program, for allowing persons 10 18 or younger to use the Authority's buses and trains for 11 transportation to youth programs or youth services. 12 Section 90. The State Mandates Act is amended by adding 13 Section 8.47 as follows: 14 (30 ILCS 805/8.47 new) 15 Sec. 8.47. Exempt mandate. Notwithstanding Sections 6 and 16 8 of this Act, no reimbursement by the State is required for 17 the implementation of any mandate created by this amendatory 18 Act of the 103rd General Assembly. 19 Section 99.
