Kifowit SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:  20 ILCS 2310/2310-720 new  Amends the Department of Public Health Powers and Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Public Health shall create a pilot program to allow the Department to enter into an agreement with a licensed plumber employed by a municipality to do inspections on behalf of the Department and submit appropriate documentation as requested to verify the inspections were completed to the standards required by the Department and outlined in the partnership. 1  AN ACT concerning State government.
2  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3  represented in the General Assembly:
4  Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and
5  Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6  amended by adding Section 2310-720 as follows:
7  (20 ILCS 2310/2310-720 new)
8  Sec. 2310-720. Pilot program with licensed plumbers. The
9  Department shall create a pilot program to allow the
10  Department to enter into an agreement with a licensed plumber
11  employed by a municipality to do inspections on behalf of the
12  Department and submit appropriate documentation as requested
13  to verify the inspections were completed to the standards
14  required by the Department and outlined in the partnership.
