HB2621 Engrossed LRB103 30057 CPF 56480 b
1 AN ACT concerning State government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Department of Public Health Powers and
5 Duties Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by adding Section 2310-720 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 2310/2310-720 new)
8 Sec. 2310-720. Pilot program with municipalities that
9 employ a certified plumbing inspector. The Department shall
10 create a pilot program to allow the Department to enter into an
11 agreement with a municipality that employs a State of Illinois
12 certified plumbing inspector to do inspections on behalf of
13 the Department and submit appropriate documentation as
14 requested to verify the inspections were completed to the
15 standards required by the Department and outlined in the
16 partnership.
