SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority for
the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 5. The sum of $2 70,699,900, or so much thereof as 5
may be necessary, is appropriated from the McCormick Place 6
Expansion Project Fund to the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition 7
Authority for debt service on the Authority's McCormick Place 8
Expansion Project Bonds, issued pursuant to the "Metropolitan 9
Pier and Exposition Authority A ct", as amended, and related 10
trustee and legal expenses. 11
Section 10. The sum of $15,000,000 or so much thereof as 12
may be necessary, is appropriated to the Metropolitan Pier and 13
Exposition Authority from the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition 14
Authority Inc entive Fund for the authority’s corporate 15
purposes, including but not limited to incentive grant funds . 16
Section 15. The sum of $12,261,500, or so much thereof as 17
may be necessary, is appropriated to the Metropolitan Pier and 18
Exposition Authority from th e Chicago Travel Industry Promotion 19

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 1
