SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois
University for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023, as
follows:
General Funds $46,540,300
Other State Funds $ 7,000
Total $46,547,300

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 5. The amount of $ 46,540,300, or so much thereof 5
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 6
Assistance Fund to the Board of Tr ustees of Eastern Illinois 7
University to meet its operational expenses for the fiscal year 8
ending June 30, 2024. 9
Section 10. The sum of $7,000, or so much thereof as may 10
be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and 11
University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Eastern 12
Illinois University for scholarship grant awards. 13
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 14
2023. 15
