SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent
expenses of the Office of the Governor for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2023, as follows:

Other State Funds $ 1,000,000

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
ARTICLE 1 4
Section 5. The sum of $1 3,900,000, or so much thereof as 5
may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 6
to the Office of the Gove rnor for operational expenses of the 7
fiscal year ending June 30, 202 4. 8
Section 10. The sum of $ 500,000, or so much thereof as may 9
be necessary, is appropriated from the Governor's Grant Fund 10
to the Office of the Governor to be expended in accordance wi th 11
the terms and conditions upon which such funds were received 12
and in the exercise of the powers or performance of the duties 13
of the Office of the Governor. 14
Section 15. The sum of $500,000, or so much thereof as may 15
be necessary, is appropriated to th e Office of the Governor 16
from the Governor’s Administrative Fund for the discharge of 17
duties of the office. 18

be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to 1
the Office of the Governor for a grant associated with 2
operational expenses of the Office of New Americans. 3
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 4
2023. 5
