1 AN ACT concerning local government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Local Library Act is amended by
5 changing Section 1-5 as follows:
6 (75 ILCS 5/1-5) (from Ch. 81, par. 1-5)
7 Sec. 1-5. The The corporate authorities may provide for
8 suitable penalties for persons committing injury upon a
9 library or the grounds or other property thereof and for
10 injury to or failure to return any library material belonging
11 to the library.
