Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
the Department of Public Health for implementing the Equity and
Representation in Health Care Act. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much of that sum 4
as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 5
Fund to the Department of Public Health for implementing the 6
Equity and Representation in Health Care Act. 7
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 8
2023. 9
