Appropriates $300,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to
the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for grants
and administrative expenses associated with the Future Through
Employment for Young Adults Program. Effective July 1, 2023.

AN ACT concerning appropriations. 1
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented 2
in the General Assembly: 3
Section 5. The amount of $300,000,000, or so much of that 4
amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General 5
Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic 6
Opportunity for grants and administrat ive expenses associated 7
with the Future Through Employment for Young Adults Program. 8
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 9
2023. 10
