1 AN ACT concerning land.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Adjutant General, on behalf of the State of
5 Illinois and the Department of Military Affairs, is authorized
6 to convey by Quitclaim Deed all right, title, and interest of
7 the State of Illinois and the Department of Military Affairs
8 in and to the real estate described in Section 10 to the City
9 of Aurora, subject to the conditions and restriction described
10 in Section 15.
11 Section 10. The Adjutant General is authorized to convey
12 the following described real property:
13 Plat of Land in Sugar Grove, Illinois:
14 THAT PART OF THE NORTH WEST 1/4 OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 38
15 NORTH, RANGE 7 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,
16 DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE CENTER OF SECTION
17 20; THENCE WEST ALONG THE QUARTER SECTION LINE 30.47
18 CHAINS TO A POINT 9.60 CHAINS EAST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER
19 OF SAID NORTHWEST QUARTER; THENCE NORTH PARALLEL WITH THE
20 WEST LINE OF SAID SECTION 37.90 CHAINS TO THE CENTER LINE
21 OF THE ROAD; THENCE EAST ALONG THE CENTER LINE 946.03 FEET

9 SOUTHERLY ROAD RIGHT OF WAY LINE; THENCE EASTERLY ALONG
10 SAID SOUTHERLY LINE 500.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
11 CONTAINING 10.00 ACRES (MORE OR LESS) IN TOWNSHIP 38
12 NORTH, RANGE 7 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN
13 THE TOWNSHIP OF SUGAR GROVE, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
14 Section 15. The Adjutant General shall not convey the real
15 property described in Section 10 to the City of Aurora until
16 the Adjutant General determines that the property is no longer
17 required for military purposes. Conveyance of the above real
18 property will be in an "as is" condition, and the City of
19 Aurora will pay all required costs and expenses for the
20 conveyance, as determined by the Adjutant General.
21 Section 20. The Adjutant General shall obtain a certified
22 copy of this Act from the Secretary of State within 60 days
23 after its effective date and, upon the conveyance of the real

1 estate described in Section 10 being made, shall cause the
2 certified copy of this Act to be recorded in the office of the
3 Recorder of Kane County, Illinois.
