1 AN ACT concerning transportation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding
5 Section 5.1015 as follows:

7 Sec. 5.1015. The Township Rebuild Program Fund.
8 Section 10. The Motor Fuel Tax Law is amended by adding
9 Section 8c as follows:

11 Sec. 8c. Township Rebuild Program Fund; creation;
12 distribution of proceeds. The Township Rebuild Program Fund is
13 hereby created as a special fund in the State treasury. The
14 Fund shall receive transfers from the Motor Fuel Tax Fund
15 sufficient to provide awards to all eligible townships. Moneys
16 in the Fund shall be used by the Department of Transportation
17 to provide grants to townships with populations under 2,000 in
18 amounts not greater than $250,000 for the purposes of building
19 or expanding machinery storage facilities. Moneys in the
20 Township Rebuild Program Fund shall be used according to the
21 purposes described in Section 11 of Article IX of the Illinois
