1 AN ACT concerning public aid.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5 changing Section 5-2.06 as follows:
6 (305 ILCS 5/5-2.06)
7 Sec. 5-2.06. Payment rates; Children's Community-Based
8 Health Care Centers. Beginning January 1, 2025 2020, the
9 Department shall, for eligible individuals, reimburse
10 Children's Community-Based Health Care Centers established in
11 the Alternative Health Care Delivery Act and providing nursing
12 care for the purpose of transitioning children from a hospital
13 to home placement or other appropriate setting and reuniting
14 families for a maximum of up to 120 days on a per diem basis at
15 the lower of the Children's Community-Based Health Care
16 Center's usual and customary charge to the public or at the
17 Department rate of $1500 $950. Payments at the rate set forth
18 in this Section are exempt from the 2.7% rate reduction
19 required under Section 5-5e.
