The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by 5 changing Section 3.7 as follows: 6 (225 ILCS 10/3.7) 7 Sec. 3.7. Exemption from licensure; day care homes and 8 group day care homes serving children of military personnel. 9 Notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary, a day 10 care home or group day care home may be exempt from licensure 11 if it meets all of the following requirements is not required 12 to be licensed under this Act if the day care home or group day 13 care home: (1) it serves dependent children of military 14 personnel; (2) it is located on a military base or federal or 15 government property; and (3) it is certified as a child 16 development program by a branch of the U.S. Department of 17 Defense or the U.S. Coast Guard.
