1 AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. In addition to other sums appropriated, the sum
5 of $32,196,800, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is
6 appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board
7 of Elections for operational expenses, grants, and
8 reimbursements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
9 Section 10. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as
10 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Elections Special
11 Projects Fund to the State Board of Elections for operational
12 expenses, grants, and reimbursements, except that this amount
13 shall not exceed funds made available.
14 Section 15. The following amounts, or so much of those
15 amounts as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated
16 from the Personal Property Tax Replacement Fund to the State
17 Board of Elections for its ordinary and contingent expenses as
18 follows:
19 For reimbursement to counties for increased
20 compensation for judges and other election
21 officials, as provided in Public Acts 81-850,

13 by Section 1A-25 of the Election
14 Code, including administrative and
15 programmatic costs associated with
16 voter registration activities..................$1,036,100
17 For administrative costs and discretionary
18 grants to local election authorities
19 under the HAVA Election Security Grant........$10,625,000

21 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
22 2025.
