1  AN ACT concerning property.
2  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3  represented in the General Assembly:
4  Section 5. The Director of Central Management Services, on
5  behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to execute and
6  deliver to the Forest Preserve District of Will County,
7  Illinois, for and in consideration of $1 paid to the
8  Department of Central Management Services, a quit claim deed
9  to the following described real property owned by the State of
10  Illinois:
11  LOTS 1, 2, 3 AND 11 (EXCEPT THEREFROM THE E. J. & E.
12  RAILROAD) ALL IN ASSESSOR'S SUBDIVISION OF SECTION 3,
13  TOWNSHIP 35 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL
14  MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED OCTOBER
15  28, 1861 IN BOOK 73, PAGE 464 1/2, IN WILL COUNTY,
16  ILLINOIS, EXCEPT THAT PART OF SAID LOT 1 LYING IN THE
17  NORTHWEST AND SOUTHWEST QUARTERS OF SAID SECTION 3 AND
18  EXCEPT THAT PART DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
19  BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER

1  the Department of Central Management Services, shall convey by
2  quit claim deed all right, title, and interest of the State of
3  Illinois and the Department of Central Management Services in
4  and to the real property described in Section 5 to the Forest
5  Preserve District of Will County, Illinois. The conveyance of
6  real property authorized by Section 5 shall be made subject to
7  existing public utilities, existing public roads, and any and
8  all reservations, easements, encumbrances, licenses,
9  covenants, and restrictions of record.
10  Section 15. Recording. The Director of Central Management
11  Services shall obtain a certified copy of this Act within 60
12  days after its effective date. The Department of Central
13  Management Services shall ensure that a certified copy of this
14  Act and any quit claim deed executed pursuant to this Act that
15  is provided to the Forest Preserve of Will County, Illinois,
16  shall be recorded by the Forest Preserve of Will County,
17  Illinois, in the Recorder's Office of the county in which the
18  land is located.
