3 thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated from the General
4 Revenue Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for the
5 objects and purposes and in the amounts set forth as follows:

7 For Warrior Assistance Program......................250,000
8 For Bonus Payments to War Veterans and Peacetime
9 Crisis Survivors...................................198,000
10 For Providing Educational Opportunities for
11 Children of Certain Veterans, as provided

16 Section 15. The sum of $3,500,000, or so much thereof as

18 Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for the payment of
19 scholarships to students who are dependents of Illinois
20 resident military personnel declared to be prisoners of war,
21 missing in action, killed or permanently disabled, as provided
22 by law.
23 Section 20. The amount of $16,830,900, or so much thereof

1 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
2 Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for costs
3 associated with the Illinois Veterans' Home at Chicago,
4 including prior years' costs.
5 Section 25. The amount of $6,000,000, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois
7 Veterans' Homes Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs
8 for costs associated with the Illinois Veterans' Home at
9 Chicago, including prior years' costs.
10 Section 30. The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof
11 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois
12 Veterans Assistance Fund to the Department of Veterans'
13 Affairs for making grants, funding additional services, or
14 conducting additional research projects relating to veterans'
15 post traumatic stress disorder; veterans' homelessness; the
16 health insurance cost of veterans; veterans' disability
17 benefits, including but not limited to, disability benefits
18 provided by veterans service organizations and veterans
19 assistance commissions or centers; and the long-term care of
20 veterans.
21 Section 35. The amount of $1,641,865, or so much thereof
22 as may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
23 business on June 30, 2025, from an appropriation heretofore

1 made for such purpose in Article 75, Section 35 of Public Act
2 103-0589, as amended, is reappropriated from the Illinois
3 Veterans Assistance Fund to the Department of Veterans'
4 Affairs for making grants, funding additional services, or
5 conducting additional research projects relating to veterans'
6 post traumatic stress disorder; veterans' homelessness; the
7 health insurance cost of veterans; veterans' disability
8 benefits, including but not limited to, disability benefits

19 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Military
20 Family Relief Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for

2 Foundation Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for
3 grants to aid in providing educational scholarships to
4 military families.
5 Section 90. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as
6 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of
7 business on June 30, 2025, from a reappropriation heretofore
8 made for such purpose in Article 75, Section 100 of Public Act
9 103-0589, as amended, is reappropriated from the General
10 Revenue Fund to the Department of Veterans' Affairs for costs
11 associated with dental care for veterans in the five state-run
12 veterans' homes.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
14 2025.
