1  AN ACT concerning appropriations.
2  Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3  represented in the General Assembly:
4  ARTICLE 1
5  Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much thereof
6  as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and
7  purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the Illinois
8  Workers' Compensation Commission Operations Fund to the
9  Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission:
10  GENERAL OFFICE
11  For Personal Services:
12  Regular Positions................................8,790,000
13  Arbitrators......................................5,784,100
14  For State Contributions to State
15  Employees' Retirement System.....................4,086,100
16  For Arbitrators' Retirement System................2,688,800
17  For State Contributions to Social Security........1,114,900
18  For Group Insurance...............................2,700,000
19  For Contractual Services..........................1,900,000
20  For Travel..........................................260,000
21  For Commodities......................................12,000
22  For Printing.........................................13,000

1  For Telecommunication Services......................125,000
2  For Electronic Data Processing....................3,440,000
3  Total    $30,931,900
4  Section 5. The amount of $70,000, or so much thereof as may
5  be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Workers'
6  Compensation Commission Operations Fund to Illinois Workers'
7  Compensation Commission for costs associated with the
8  establishment of the Medical Fee Schedule and other provisions
9  of the Workers' Compensation Act.
10  Section 10. The amount of $9,000, or so much thereof as may
11  be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Workers'
12  Compensation Commission Operations Fund to Illinois Workers'
13  Compensation Commission for costs associated with the
14  establishment, administration and operations of the Insurance
15  Compliance Division of the workers' compensation anti-fraud
16  program administered by Illinois Workers' Compensation
17  Commission.
18  Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
19  2025.
