1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Danny Charles Alexander, who passed
4 away on December 25, 2024; and
5 WHEREAS, Danny Alexander was born in Mattoon to Charles
6 and Minnie (Way) Alexander on March 23, 1952; and
7 WHEREAS, Danny Alexander was a devoted father, brother,
8 cousin, and friend to many; and
9 WHEREAS, Danny Alexander was a man of milestones, but his
10 greatest joy was being "Paw-Paw", a role he embraced with
11 pride; and
12 WHEREAS, Danny Alexander was preceded in death by his
13 parents and his son, Jason Alexander; and
14 WHEREAS, Danny Alexander is survived by his daughters,
15 Nicole and Courtney Alexander, and his grandson, Jack "Jack
16 Jack" Alexander; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
18 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
19 Danny Charles Alexander and extend our sincere condolences to
