1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Jacob Conrad James of Virden, who
4 passed away on February 15, 2025; and
5 WHEREAS, Jacob James, the son of Kyle James and Shelby
6 Stufflebeam, was born in Springfield on November 29, 2014; and
7 WHEREAS, Jacob James was a sixth grade student at Sangamon
8 Area Special Education District (SASED) in Springfield; and
9 WHEREAS, Jacob James loved cars, dinosaurs, and trucks;
10 and
11 WHEREAS, Jacob James passed away alongside his father and
12 older brother, Hunter James; and
13 WHEREAS, Jacob James is survived by his mother; his
14 younger sister, Molly James; his maternal grandparents,
15 Barbara Stufflebeam and Chuck (Trina) McGraw; his paternal
16 grandmother, Jackie James; and several aunts, uncles, and
17 cousins; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
