1  SENATE RESOLUTION
2  WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to
3  congratulate Justin Allgaier on his outstanding racing career;
4  and
5  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier is a distinguished racecar driver
6  who has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and
7  sportsmanship throughout his racing career; and
8  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier was born on June 6, 1986 in
9  Springfield and has become a distinguished figure in American
10  stock car racing; and
11  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier grew up in Riverton and has been
12  an ambassador representing his community with honor and
13  bringing positive recognition to the area; and
14  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier's family plays a crucial role in
15  his life, providing unwavering support and motivation; he is
16  the son of Mike and Dorothy Allgaier; he is married to his high
17  school sweetheart, Ashley Allgaier, and together, they have
18  two daughters, Harper and Willow; his family's love and
19  encouragement have been instrumental in his success; and
20  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier began his racing career at the

1  young age of five, quickly showcasing his talent and passion
2  for the sport; and
3  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier achieved significant milestones
4  early in his career, including becoming a five-time
5  quarter-midget champion by the age of 12; and
6  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier became the youngest driver to
7  advance to an A-Main at the Chili Bowl, the star-studded
8  midget racing event in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2001 at the age of
9  14; and
10  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier secured the ARCA Re/Max Series
11  Championship in 2008, marking a pivotal moment in his ascent
12  within professional racing; and
13  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier was honored as the 2009 NASCAR
14  Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year, further establishing his
15  reputation in the racing community; and
16  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier has been a consistent and
17  formidable competitor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving
18  the No. 7 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports; and
19  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier has accumulated 27 Xfinity Series
20  victories over his career, placing him 9th on the all-time

5  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier has been recognized multiple
6  times as the all-time record holder for the NASCAR Xfinity
7  Series Most Popular Driver Award, reflecting his positive
8  impact on fans and the broader community; and
9  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier has exemplified the values of
10  perseverance, sportsmanship, and community engagement
11  throughout his career, serving as an inspiration to aspiring
12  racers and Illinois residents alike; and
13  WHEREAS, Justin Allgaier's contributions to racing extend
14  beyond the track, as he has actively engaged with fans,
15  participated in community events, and supported charitable
16  causes, including the Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon initiative,
17  which he featured on his car during Memorial Day weekend at
18  Charlotte Motor Speedway, as well as participating in numerous
19  charity events and fundraisers; therefore, be it
20  RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL
21  ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we declare November 9,

1  2025 as Justin Allgaier Day in the State of Illinois to
2  commemorate the one year anniversary of his championship win,
3  and we extend our best wishes for continued success in all his
4  future endeavors; and be it further
5  RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6  presented to Justin Allgaier as a symbol of our respect and
