Summary of Legislation: This bill requires the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI) and the Department
of Correction (DOC) to collect and distribute certain criminal justice data.
Effective Date: July 1, 2024.
Explanation of State Expenditures: The bill will reduce the administrative workload of the ICJI and the
DOC. It removes certain data collection and reporting requirements.
