SENATE RESOLUTION ____
MADAM PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION to recognize Youth Council
2 members Katie Bolduc, Evelyn Kemp, and Alina Jaradat.
3 Whereas, The Senate District 30 Youth Advisory Council
4 aims to engage high school students in the legislative process,
5 to give them a voice in the Indiana Senate, and to learn about
6 state government;
7 Whereas, Youth Advisory Council members have had an
8 opportunity to advocate for policies impacting young people
9 and connect with other students across District 30;
10 Whereas, Council Members Katie Bolduc, Evelyn Kemp,
11 and Alina Jaradat have given their time and dedication to aid
12 in the creation of SB 94 and SB 95 during their time on the
13 Youth Council; and
14 Whereas, We applaud and recognize their effort as they
15 have chosen to both get involved in Indiana legislation and
16 make a difference in their local communities as Indiana's
17 youth: Therefore,
18 Be it resolved by the Senate of the

1 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
2 SECTION 1. That the Indiana Senate recognizes the noble
3 efforts of Senate District 30 Youth Council members Katie
4 Bolduc, Evelyn Kemp, and Alina Jaradat.
5 SECTION 2. That the Secretary of the Senate is hereby
6 directed to transmit copies of this resolution to these Youth
7 Council Members.
