Summary of Legislation: This bill requires the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) to: (1) collaborate
with a national Alzheimer's disease and dementia organization in educating the public about Alzheimer's
disease and dementia; and (2) identify and collaborate with additional partners in the education. 
This bill requires the IDOH to partner for outreach in the education and publish certain educational materials
on the IDOH website. It also allows the IDOH to accept grants, services, and property from public and
private entities for the education.
Effective Date:  July 1, 2025.
Explanation of State Expenditures:  The bill’s requirements will increase workload for the Indiana
Department of Health (IDOH) but should be able to be implemented using existing staffing and resources.
[The IDOH’s administrative expenditures are currently paid from the Tobacco Master Settlement Fund, a
dedicated fund.]
