Summary of Legislation: (Amended) This bill provides that a household is eligible for assistance under the
Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program if the household includes a foster parent at the time of
the Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services' (FSSA) initial determination regarding the
household's CCDF eligibility. It also requires the FSSA to hold 200 CCDF vouchers in reserve to be used
for foster youth.
Effective Date: July 1, 2025.
