Summary of Legislation: This bill prohibits discrimination based upon an individual's status as an active
member of the armed forces, gender identity, or sexual orientation. The bill expands nondiscriminatory
public policies of the state to include sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, and national origin as protected
classes.
Effective Date: July 1, 2025.
