a foreign government or other foreign national from making a
contribution in connection with a public question.

HOUSE BILL No. 1467
A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning
elections.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
1 SECTION 1. IC 3-9-2-11, AS AMENDED BY P.L.128-2015,
2 SECTION 146, IS AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS
3 [EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2025]: Sec. 11. A foreign national (as defined
4 in 52 U.S.C. 30121(b)) may not make a contribution in connection
5 with:
6 (1) an election;
7 (2) a convention; or
8 (3) a caucus in which a candidate is selected; or
9 (4) a public question;
10 under this title.
