Effective Date: July 1, 2025. Explanation of State Expenditures: Explanation of State Revenues: Explanation of Local Expenditures: Any school corporation that attracts more students through its sports programs could experience a minor workload and expenditure increase for each student. School corporations that lose students under the bill could experience a minor workload and expenditure decrease. Any expenditure increase or decrease would be more than offset by a change in state tuition support revenue. Explanation of Local Revenues: School corporations that enroll more students under the bill will receive additional state tuition support revenue. School corporations that have students that transfer out of the school corporation for athletic reasons will experience a revenue decrease.
