Summary of Legislation: This bill prohibits a school corporation from participating in an association that
charges a fee to access a streaming service for certain events.
Effective Date: July 1, 2025.
Explanation of State Expenditures: The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) is a nonprofit
corporation that acts as the governing body for high school sports in Indiana. The bill would prohibit IHSAA
from charging a fee to access a streaming service for an athletic event conducted by the association.
