Summary of Legislation: Specifies that funds may not be expended from the regional economic
acceleration and development initiative (READI) 2.0 until all funds available under READI 1.0 have been
expended. Amends the state sales and use tax exemption (exemption) for data centers to instead provide the
exemption projects for investments in a quantum computing research, advanced computing, and defense
infrastructure network that result in a minimum qualified investment within five years of at least
$50,000,000.
Effective Date: July 1, 2025.
