1 A HOUSE RESOLUTION recognizing Sue Scott.
2 Whereas, The Indiana School Public Relations Association
3 (INDSPRA) awarded Sue Scott, the Tippecanoe School
4 Corporation (TSC) communication coordinator, with the 2025
5 Indiana School Communicator of the Year award;
6 Whereas, The Indiana School Communicator of the Year
7 award recognizes a public relations professional for their
8 outstanding work in the field of school communications.
9 Nominees are required to be an active school communicator
10 who works full-time in school districts or education service
11 agencies, be a current member of INDSPRA and the National
12 School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), and plan to
13 continue serving in the profession;
14 Whereas, Nominees are judged on criteria that includes

1 leadership, communication, professionalism, and community
2 involvement;
3 Whereas, Sue Scott joined TSC in 2013 as the first
4 communications coordinator for the school corporation and
5 rediscovered her purpose and passion for storytelling; and
6 Whereas, In her position, Sue Scott keeps parents, teachers,
7 students, and administrators informed on issues facing the
8 schools, sharing details on important events and highlighting
9 contributions from students and staff to the community:
10 Therefore,
11 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the
12 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
13 SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives
14 recognizes Sue Scott upon being named the 2025 Indiana
15 School Communicator of the Year.
16 SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of
17 Representatives shall transmit copies of this resolution to State
18 Representative Sheila Klinker for distribution.
