Summary of Legislation: (Amended) The bill prohibits an employer from taking an adverse employment
action against an employee as a result of the employee's absence from work to attend a case conference
committee meeting or attendance conference with respect to the employee's child. It requires certain persons
to provide documentation related to a conference or meeting under certain circumstances.
Effective Date:  July 1, 2025.
