Summary of Legislation: This bill amends provisions that apply to the Legislative Services Agency's
periodic tax incentives review and analysis.
Effective Date: July 1, 2025.
Explanation of State Expenditures: The bill changes provisions regarding the Legislative Services
Agency’s tax incentive review report and the tax incentive review schedule. It also makes the requirement
for the annual review, analysis, and evaluation of tax incentives permanent. The bill’s requirements are
within the agency’s routine administrative functions and should be able to be implemented with no additional
appropriations, assuming near customary agency staffing and resource levels.
