SENATE RESOLUTION ____
MR. PRESIDENT:
I offer the following resolution and move its adoption:
1 A SENATE RESOLUTION recognizing Young Men, Inc.
2 for their exceptional public service.
3 Whereas, Young Men, Inc. has provided an empowering
4 environment for young men between the ages of 9-16 for the
5 past 30 years;
6 Whereas, Young Men, Inc. is an eight-week summer camp
7 which has an unwavering commitment to combat violence
8 among young men;
9 Whereas, Young Men, Inc. has left a lasting impression on
10 the lives of thousands across Indianapolis;
11 Whereas, Young Men, Inc. has combated violence among
12 young men by creating healthy environments;
13 Whereas, Young Men, Inc. engages with young men
14 through mentorship to instill core values as they mature; and
15 Whereas, Values that young men gain include: courage,
16 bravery, responsibility, and respect: Therefore,

1 Be it resolved by the Senate of the
2 General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
3 SECTION 1. That the Indiana State Senate wishes to
4 recognize Young Men, Inc. for their exceptional service to
5 combat youth violence.
6 SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Senate is hereby directed
7 to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Young Men, Inc.
