SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2010 by Representative Highberger
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2010 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
HB 2010 would update a statutory reference concerning providing proper jury instruction
in cases when a defendant lacks the required mental state to commit a crime.
The Office of Judicial Administration states enactment of the bill would not have a fiscal
effect on the operations of the Judicial Branch.
