SUBJECT: Fiscal Note for HB 2679 by House Committee on Transportation
In accordance with KSA 75-3715a, the following fiscal note concerning HB 2679 is
respectfully submitted to your committee.
HB 2679 would allow the Director of Vehicles to waive the skills test for driving a
commercial vehicle for an applicant who qualifies for a waiver under the Military Even Exchange
Program.
Both the Kansas Department of Revenue and the Kansas Department of Transportation
indicate enactment of the bill would not have a fiscal effect on the operations of either agency.
